3farmhouse sink
The large double-bowl apron-front sink sparkles in the light
and adds instant country
charm. The single-lever
gooseneck faucet (shown on
page 40) has a high spout for
filling large pots and pulls out
to make cleanup a snap.
unfitted
cabinetry
The Jensens found that these
flat-front wood-look cabinets
with horizontal graining
were—to borrow a line from
Donny and Marie Osmond—
a little bit country and a little
bit rock ’n’ roll. The horizontal
grain echoes the horizontal
lines in the beaded-board
paneling that wraps the walls
and ceiling, yet the unadorned
doors play to a more modern
tune. The base cabinets are
chock-full of drawers for
dresserlike storage. Pulls
in the same finish blend to
keep the lines simple and
the look sophist4icated.
